He's the darkness in the nighttime

It fades at dawn

He's a master criminal

Who always defies the law

He's a modern day mystery

He's called the swiftly hands

For when you reach the scene of the crime

He's never there at all

You'd know him if you saw him

His eyes are dark as night

He has a smile

as bright as the moonlight

He's always unheard

He slithers like a snake

If you ever find him fast asleep

He's always wide awake

You may meet him on the street

Or see him in an alleyway

But if a crime has been discovered

Then he'll always be far away

All the criminals you've heard of

All work for him

He's the one who pulls the strings

For he's the God of Crime

The day will never be bright

The darkness is always right

He always has an alibi

Sometimes even one or two to spare

He even has insiders

The Police don't know they're there

For He's the one who pulls the strings

For he's the God of Crime
