Piper was always a firm, solid name. Peculiar, intriguing, desirable. A name that could emanate its very own melody or song,
creating an effortless, beautiful tune. A name that could set your heart racing, if only for a moment. A striking word that could fulfil your wildest dreams or simply, a name to fill a void
somewhere between time and space.
Piper wasn’t the most confident of girls throughout our childhood. She was a quiet wandering spirit, but wholly lost. Nowhere to go and no one to go with. Meandering between bushes and trees,
creating a path of her own. I was jealous, but sometimes just watching her could calm me down, a bubble of peace and sincerity wrapped itself tightly around me, I felt safe, but only for a
moment. And then the bubble would burst and there we were again, 3 young girls with no hopes, no future, and no opportunity. Not a penny to spare, yet for Piper it seemed, almost a blessing. I
wonder even now how this could be true but my mind still deceives me as it always does.
