This poem is about being scared of being in a relationship, because everyone's else's relationships have always been torn apart, and also because everything is changing so fast that you can't keep up. However, being in love is an amazing feeling, and meeting my fiance was the best thing that ever happened to me

I couldn’t survive if we ever did part

But a part of me wants to break your heart

The only love I’ve ever known is the kind that falls through

I guess I just want to end things before you do

Now that you are here I couldn’t imagine being alone

But being alone is all that I’ve ever known

I sometimes want to get back to the way I was before

Back when I had nothing to live for

It may have been hell but I knew what to expect

Now with so many things changing I just have to guess

But you keep me on the straight and narrow

And I’m glad that cupid shot us with an arrow

We have a love better than any I’ve ever known

So maybe it’s best living life unknown
