I have a recurring nightmare where I am stuck in a corner

And I just keep on getting smaller and smaller

Now my nightmare has come true

I am miniscule in a world that is huge

My life is a puzzle piece that I can’t figure out

I am a failure beyond a shadow of a doubt

I want to be important and successful

But thinking about the future is so stressful

No matter how much progress I make

I just keep coming back full circle

How long is it going to take

To get over all these obstacles?

So I will keep on trying to break down this wall

That I have put up around myself

I know that eventually I will get through it all

And stop putting my responsibilities on a shelf
