I'm not in love, and I doubt I ever will be. This is a poem about love, but it's not another love poem.

Love is in the air,

Girls acting crazy for the one they "love."

This feeling so magical,

So special.

I'm never gonna have this feeling because,

I've been dissed, friend-zoned, and forgotten about.

My poor heart has it worse,

Ripped out, stepped on, spit at, beaten, broken, smashed.

But it's still here,

And I am too.

Don't count me out, no don't you dare count me out.

I'm here, fixed, mended, stronger.

This isn't a comeback, I never left.

So I don't need affection or love,

I'll kick, scream, and shove.

I refuse to write a love note, no love song, and no love poem,

Call me twisted, but I'll act like love never existed.
