The sound of footsteps,

haunt my brain.

Shadows of memories lost;

uncover the veil of emotions ,

clouding the mind.

Familiar faces vividly enters the hallway of nothingness.

But as you draw me closer to the edge,

crystal pieces flash one by one;

scattered amongst the pools of tears,

flooding this barren field

As numbness enters this fragile heart of mine,

hiding myself in a shell only i can enter;

Shielding myself over a facade,

which guard my being.

Afraid that when someone pushes me over the edge,

I may never fix the pieces that were shattered once again.

Again, I love the structure, it flowed and formed perfectly. The imagery is excellent and the word choice gives the reader a surreal, psychological feel for the story. Incredible piece. =^.^=
