not what it appears.

Its just a mask

Covering

Whats really inside

A happy mask

A sad mask

What ever you

Expect to see

I show you

But it's not

Really there

Your break my mask

I shatter

My disguise

Destroyed

Revealing

What's really

There

I love this piece. Because everyone wears a mask in order to be accepted socially or to avoid trouble. People can be so dumb, all you have to do is give a little smile and they won't ever even guess your inner feelings. I could relate a lot to this poem.

Amazing. Truely, it shows how ununderstanding society is.Alls you have to do is say "oh, I'm fine" and no matter how downwardly you say it, they believe you. Its probably because they don't care. I enjoyed this alot.
