16-year-old Nolan Alcott lost his parents two years ago to the undead horde. In the time since, he has had no choice but to self-teach survival skills and care for his seven-year-old brother, Lucas, as they reside in their home in the woods near a rural town. This story chronicles just a few short months of Nolan's life, as he struggles through guilt, violence, isolation, dementia, and drug abuse during a trying time in human history.

Special thanks to Olivia Eng for help in editing & revision. This novel will be updated on a regular basis in a chapter-by-chapter series.
