We might push You away but You stay

We don’t invite You but You wait

We ignore You but You pray

We fail miserably, but You have faith

You turn our sadness into joy

Our despair into hope

Our anxiety into peace

Our hate into love

Desperately we need You

Steadfastly You wait

Graciously You pour over us

Gloriously we change

Into the image of You

Again and again

Into Your likeness

Bearing Your kindness

And most of all Your love

Ushering in, Your Kingdom come
