Lady by the lake
The lady of the lake sat in silence
as reflections paved their way into her veiw,
and sun flakes dazzled their way under the fading
All things went silent awaiting her song--
and then itbegan
although it may not be what the lake had waited for...
it came in sorrow and sadness,
a yearning inside for something that was not tangible
at least not anymore....
and then, it turned to grief, and as the waves carried the echo
across the lake
and oh, and ohh, the sun flakes cried.....
and I, I cried.....
and the tress,
the trees cried.....
and the voice,,,,yes the voice cried....
She continued to sing,
and then suddenly after a pause something began to change
it was as if something sprang forth
and the grass was lifted.
The lady's voice began again
although with a renewed rejuvenation.
I don't know, could it be the clouds carried her song away
and left only sentiment to grasp within herself?
But no, it was much more than anything sentimental,
this here in her voice began to echo something far more grand.
I can not describe the way it made me feel inside,
butI will tell you that the sun flakes danced in rhythm with the bowing leaves.
Her voice as much as I would like to express it here,
it was just too beautiful to place into words.
My soul was speachless.
and as my poem has become void of any kind of understanding
in that day though, yes inside that day,
it was full.
