There was a little boy,

cute as he could be.

When mom would take him for a walk,

he'd stop to kiss each tree.

The cutest smile upon his face

before each tree he would embrace.

Hand 'n hand this boy and his mom

would tarry the block along.

What put the smile upon his face?

Did the trees sing him a song??

Hand 'n hand they strolled together,

the boy cute as he could be.

Mamma placed a hand upon her heart

each time he kissed a tree.

silly as it may seem,

the boy did find it necessary

to kiss each tree.

what is the hidden meaning?

"unto each tree a boy shall shine?"

"when you stop to kiss, there is still enough time?"

"if you kiss a tree, the stars will shine?"

maybe we'll never know.

oh, I know,

"kissing tree's make cute little boys...:)
