Fare the well

To all the days that come at you

For all the ways you tend to them

For many smiles beyond the bend

Fare the well,  those days; your friend

~

To past conditions come let go

To any kind or unkind blow

The miles we travel bare the soul

Fare the well,  it is our common goal

~

For brains that storm with zest to bring

For brothers that make our small heart’s sing!

Contagious smiles

And out stretched arms

And those that hold such clever charm’s

Hoping this year is made from the wishes

In deepest warmth of your heart

Fare the well, fare the well, fare the well

Happy Birthday, Happy New Year, Happy Year!
