I sprawled impatiens at the base of the tree

late in the year.

Patience was erased from your heart.

And skin!

~

I bathed in the call of the western lantern

that put you to rest.

And the East grabbed my spirit as well~

Portals in time!

~

Could the magic be spoken through southern passages

warm like the French meadow, kissing

of older, yet still widely awakened romantic partners?

Widely, and Wildly!

~

Wildly romantic spokes-persons

recite verse to regions in the Netherlands.

But spoken by you, my name,

would engorge that flame!

~

Heat rises tall. So tall!

I never held that same feeling for mounting glory.

~

Sprawling now across the garden

are silent innuendos

And the patience that was scratched from one place

Is now etched in another!
