just very off the cuff
emotional in nature

I bend

I breath

And I sigh just a little.

I sigh just a little,

And I sigh just a little,

But I bend just a little bit more.

`

I feel things, at times, theatrical in nature.

I feel things un-expressed.

Leaving me hurt and disillusioned.

`

I don’t know anything for certain,

But I feel.  And if what I feel is coarse, un- refined, or un-appreciative

Then I may find myself feeling a disconnect, and maybe even reckless in emotions.

Angry, overly sensitive, even un-empathetic

`

Disappointment often misleading.

And people’s nature, stressful.

Indignant.

Chaotic.

I sigh just a little.

I sigh just a little

And I cry just a little bit more.

`

Bend and breath, bend and breath ~

~

The world says; hold me like a sponge

I do

I say; release me like the breeze

It does

To reach through bending and breathing to where you are at the end of this writing is a measure of hard won grace. Life is frequently both not a paved and often a toll road. Breath - Bend. Yes.

Yes certainly not paved.. mmm, lest we pave it ourselvs haha ;-) maybe we are the pavers?
Well i have to thankyou very much for the comment on grace! it hasn't been an easy time of it lately.
I am however, so very glad that i have enough experience under me that i can savor some gracefullness getting through now.
Many years ago I would not have had that.
thankyou Connie! :-)

Love it sweetheart. So beautiful I could envision you swaying like a willow in the wind, or a bamboo, bending gracefully and as I say ' go with the flow'....our hard won ability to go with the flow of grave, love and beauty despite the odds, it what life is. Faith in love, in beauty and in grace knowing things will all be as they are intended.

And you may just 'be'..... without 'doing'

Hugs and much love
wonderful hearing from you with your flowing prose.

i like this a lot. i love the beginning with the repetition, and you willingness to open yourself to where you are right now emotionally. then, like a bow, you tie it all back together at the end. you are a lady poet.

Katie I can't believe I missed this one! This expressive, flowing, emotional river of words/emotions blended.
The final stanza is simply beautiful.

Oh Anna so mcuh to say!
Its been so long. good gosh how the heck are you??
I've read your poetic page posts :-)
very fitting, very non committal feeling of just letting
yourself be you!
thanky for the nice comment; yes april; that was the month of kens surgery and 'a-lot' of emotions.

this month that just ended here; Aug; Holy bulleeepa pajama hama mamma! HA ! I can't write all of it here. some has to be kept quiet. But life is happening on some really good levels.

i think that is all i will say for now.. you know i've much too much energy to go into so much detail, but i will come over to your page and comune with you some more later on..i know there are at least two i have not left feedback for.
I am hoping you are as alive in wellness as possibly poss at this time. . AT-Anne-*Anna*/ my Anna :-) loving you always :-)
