I never thought my mind would take this turn,
but it has. ...the feeling of falling again...promises of love...from children who have died in war with the enemy..

The feeling of falling again,

Into the inbetween.

The shadows not haunting,

But beckoning me to come.

They whisper to life,

Promises unabound.

They whisper to death,

Light of darkness.

The feeling of falling again,

Into the hands of deception.

He is not haunting,

But desires me so.

He whispers to life,

Promises of love and atonement.

He whispers to death,

A way out of pain.

The feeling of falling again,

Into a lake of blood, from children who died in war,

war with the "enemy".

They are not haunting,

But they cry aloud to their mother.

They whisper to life,

Promises of never being barren.

They whisper to death,

A chance to be a child.

The feeling of falling again,

Into oblivion with the heart of life,

Is haunting, knowing death will fall for me,

And I will be forever bound to him,

within the shadows of deception.
