I hold onto all my false truths,

Hopes,

trying to push them into my reality

Dreams,

waking me in the night,

long seemingly peaceful nights

in which my thoughts wage a war,

war against growing weariness

limbs slowing sinking

melting into the comfort of early morning hours.

Yet, it would seemin these early morning hours,

realities and dreams meld into one,

the solidified perfection of truth.

For one moment I am enlightened,

for one moment I rise above my destiny,

until like recalling dreams

I loose the pieces,

little by little,

a groggy afternoon waking

to search again.
