A free-verse poetry entitled "Sailing in an oblivious sea". So in here, the persona is embarking in a sea of nevermore. While he is in an excursion, he sees a sea that no pirate embarked and fishes that swum. After a minute, he came to a sudden realization that the sea was he. I mean, he was able to reflect himself to this sea. He told that he was once a loner. In other words, The poet is trying to compare the oblivious sea to the loner persona.

This place is but a plaintive, melancholic sea

Neither pirate embarking nor fishes swimming

The sea-wave dancing, the wrath of the thunder

A rain of brackish tears and I with wobbly fears!

Suddenly, the mood changed to halcyon

Sorrow calls with a moaning voice

And a crow flies in eternity

The face of a pallor sunset, beaming on the horizon

This sea of forgetfulness, this sea where no pirates embark

This sea of loss and this sea of grief have hope on it

Can’t you see how calm and gentle the flow of water?

Can’t you feel the tenderness of northern wind?

Then why did you put this sea in oblivion?

In my old grief, I saw the loneliness of this sea

It was so lonely than I thought it to be

I was once a loner and to embark on this sea

Makes me feel the day when I was being lost and isolated

This sea is a reflection of my soul, of course

This is me, so who cares if I embark in an oblivious sea.
