Picture this. It's the day of two of your least favorite exams, you have already sat one in the morning and now it's lunchtime. You have been looking forward to having hot chips for lunch all day and now it's finally time. You bring the chips to the perfect spot to consume them, you unwrap the chips and let the delicous smell waft from their golden bodies. You eat the chips with your friends, enjoying every bite, using the chips to motivate you to be doing some last minute study for your next exam. Then you see your school's Deputy Principal approaching fast. Her face can't be seen with the harsh backlight from the sun. She gets closer and closer, you never realized how tall she was until right now. She peers down at you and your friends.
"Put them away. You're not allowed fish and chips at school, I've said that in the notices at least four times."
You rack your brain trying to remember if you had heard of such an absurb prohibitance.
"Why aren't we allowed them?" You ask innocently, recieving an evil glare from the Deputy Principal.
"One," she holds up a finger, "We are promoting healthy eating. Two, the juniors aren't allowed to leave the school grounds during the day and it's UNFAIR." The last word echoes in your mind. Everything about your school is unfair. Everything has been banned. No cellphones, no iPods/Mp3 players, no bracelets, no rings, no necklaces, no multi-colored hair, no piercings anywhere except in the ear lobe, no leaving the school grounds EVER during school hours, no ankle socks. The list could go on forever.
But the stupidest, newest rule to join this compilation of conformity.
NO FISH AND CHIPS.
