It's tiring, being treated like a street

Everyone stompin' their feet

And when the sky feeds me any scrap of sleet

You coat it with salt, so Ican't even eat

It's tiring, being a street

Everyone uses me like Idon't know defeat

Week after week I'm

Beat and I am beat

Never felt any sleep, never greeted a wink

I'm tired of being a street

Bruised and bleak, no one lends a sheet

Like I don't know cold & can't feel heat

Strong? Iam weak

No way out yet Iseek & Iseek

Anywhere else - just tryin' to flee

Can't you see?

Ican't stand Ican't sit Ican't breathe Ican't win

No longer I wish to serve people like this

Ican't cry Ican't cry

Worst of it all

Iwas born without the talent to die.
