Through wood and forest I wonder alone,
Each pebble and rock is my stepping stone.
Through meadows I pass without seeing a face,
But I cling to the hope I will find my own place.

Somewhere there are fairies dancing in the sky,
And somewhere, sometime I will watch them go by.
I will dance in the flames of a phoenix's wings,
I will smile and love, and see what life brings.

But first I must get there and never give in,
To the sadness and terrors that wear my soul thin.
If I stand tall then there's nothing to regret,
And I must keep walking; For I'm not there yet.
