Growing up in the village of Rose Creek, Theo spent his life under the towering presence of the Celestial Palace. Inside its walls, the Ala’ha people peacefully governed the land through dark and mysterious rituals. Tasked with the daunting responsibility of protecting the human world, the Ala’ha use their celestial connection to the universe to seek answers through ‘Viewings,” ceremonies that predate anything they can remember. When Theo finds himself within the palace walls after a strange turn of events, he is faced with a life-altering decision. Forced from the life he once loved, Theo risks it all to save the life of a newfound powerful companion who could be the undoing of their peaceful land. On his journey to save himself from a certain death, Theo discovers impossible truths into the person he was meant to be.
