Tuesday. 6:30am. My eyes are the heavy remnants of defeat. Surrender. Cowardice.
Another day, another duty.
Hesitant to move, winter sighs me awake from the old crack in the window.
Never have I felt so waif-like than in mornings.
Take the regular dosage of The Present, drown it down with a shot of Adversity.
It all seemed wrong, tiresome, dull, automated. It was me in all my coffee spilled disgrace.
Seeing the sunrise was nothing to me anymore,
a spectrum of crimson and auburns only turned to oil inside of me.
Shedding a snake skin of yesterday, a new one grows out of spite.

Another day, another disappointment.
