A Haiku for each season and a metaphor for each stage of a long term relationship.

The blossoms in bloom
Eyes wide with new potential
Entwined, laying roots

Evening sun burns
Dull heat as lovers lie
Smouldering, yearning

A gold brown leaf falls
Red sun hangs low in the sky
Heart to heart, they kiss

Jointly sat thinking
Beneath the snow covered tree
Tears glow love, they die
