I know that it might be strange,

To ask this small favor of you,

I’m sure you have better things to do,

And I certainly don’t want to waste your time,

So please, take this gun from my hand,

And put a bullet in head.

Please lift this heavy iron,

And pull the hairline trigger,

Please remove all these faithless voices,

And all the pathetic doubts,

Once this is done, please lower the gun,

And shoot another into my chest.

Let the bullet rip through the flesh and bone,

Destroying all the worthless fear,

And all the pointless worries,

In exchange for these two bullets,

I can only offer you this smile,

I hope it will be enough.

Thank you for your assistance,

My anonymous, passing friend,

You have been such a great help,

Here, I’ll give you another smile,

Completely free of charge,

You can even keep the gun, if you want.

I don’t need, or want it, anymore,

You’ve killed my personal beast of despair,

Thanks to you, there’s nothing to hold me back,

So go ahead and keep the gun,

Because you may need to ask the same favor,

Of another anonymous, passing friend.
