Life is but a dream, a dream, a dream
Held together with unconcious seams, seams, seams
Drifting by any means through memories born to be
The day we fall, our children born, to love hus'band, wife
Our leaning play, our affection to stay, to feel finally so free,
Compares not to dreams so sought as what living life could be.
Could be as though those words so harsh and bitter remain the same
So cold, and hopeless, lonely thoughts to be given with the name
A simple sillohette and another man to illuminate his pain
A simple little rosebud kiss, to illuminate, her pain.
A torturous flow of blood to the head, rage in her tongue
Her right is just, cause uncertain, but I am a devil, one.
Never a cheat, but love torn in 'tween, to not just one, not one.
Redemption now, but for her bow,  redeem my horrid sin
Fallen from grace, a lash to my face, shame for her forsaken.
Oh foul flood, misunderstood, in tragedy the Bard could've wrote
Among his fallen angels, a deathly couple, Macbeth and Hamlet smote
Upon my lips lay sillohette fits of longing and tremendous sorrow
Left myself with a mote of hope, but strong hope for the 'morrow
If myself found cold, bitter and old, in my head a hellish fate
I'll have her close, against odds coarse, and never let go again.
To be alone, in this empty home and watch the early dawn
The eternal proverb, true and true
You never ever know what you have 'til it's gone.
I am a dreamer so, so fallen by and by
Reminise of those passed on, and those born to sky
Do not remember me for my verse, just like the tragic Poe
But for my words, and who we were, on that first kiss long ago
We are lost held together, with not but unconcious seams
I like you are lost and true, so take my hand with any means....
After all, after the fall- we are just
A dream within a dream
