This poem is from my novel 'Splinters from the Past', and was writen in the context that the main charecter, Jasmae Keeleed, is saying goodbye to one whome she loves that has passed. She is reading the poem at his funeral. She blames herself for his death.

Seas a crystal blue shine, skin like armour as you stood your ground.

A voice of heavenly tone, and a soul to which mine is ever bound.

Your time here was short but sweet,

the love of those around you running deep.

You brang sunshine to everyday with only a smile,

often I thought ‘to just sit and stare for a while.’

But now my dear love we say goodbye,

all say it is final, but in my heart; I know it is a lie.

For I shall see you again in next life or after,

and once more I will float on a wave of your laughter.

But until then my dear angel, I bid you adu,

May your journey be tranquil. I love you.
