I wrote this poem for me and my family when my uncle Darcy lost control of his truck on the gravel and rolled 3 years ago on July 7th. You left too soon uncle, we miss you.

So everyday I stop and think,

About how our lives began to sink.

We live on, but in our hearts,

A piece is submerged further apart.

I see you everywhere I go,

I know tis not you though.

You still had a smile on,

The one that will never be gone.

And though we still mourn,

We know you're reborn.

Wherever it is you're happily partying,

Just like you always were happy with everything.

I'll think of you everyday,

My memeories of you will never, ever fray.

I will see you in the eyes of the cousins that I care for,

As I will for days of my life, and more.

Tears are still shed,

But smiles appear like a best friend.

So whenever you cross my mind, I'll always think..

Of what a wonderful uncle, son, brother, father, and person you were, and still are.

Altogether, through and through,

We will always love you, forever..
