I can admit I’ve loved someone so much
I made them nonexistent
A figment of my imagination
They grew in my mind with each tender thought
And walked with me so valiantly
Magically knowing my deepest desires
And noticing all the humble, subtle moments
Charting the hidden trails of my mind
They knew me for better and worse
Then the clock struck twelve
My carriage turned to a pumpkin
The glass slippers cut my feet
And I realized I was in love
With nothing more than an idea
A simple spell
An easy mistake
