Icarus,
Oh wing
èd son of fire!

Your fate retold,
And yet no regret
That you hold,
For that ephemeral moment
You were revered
You felt the sun, so soft
Though it should’ve struck you with fear
Like moth to a flame
So feathers to wax
And flying to falling
You plummeted down
Down
Down

Your father was calling
And if he could have heard you
I wonder what he would say
If he could see you
With eyes closed,
Smile, and whisper,
"I regret nothing today."
