Pruning Dead Branches

A wasted space

No light shines from thee

Ones that might need to replace

Themselves, with more integrity

Instant gratification is your desire

No more time can make you whole

Might just throw yourself into the fire

And make room for the next to take role

And stand up, much stronger than you

To reclaim a better society

Watch with your slanted view

At those who have your lacked sobriety

Make way for great leaders and inventors

You unknown and forgotten pretenders.
