She's sitting on her bed
Tears dripping to the floor
She's used to this feeling
She's felt it before

She feels like a mistake
That's what everyone says
She doesn't listen to her heart
Or her best friend

She looks in the mirror
Fighting what's shown
Cause she doesn't see the beauty
The beauty that is known

She doesn't believe
That she is loved
She thinks that everything is numb

With the screaming and yelling
Whirling in her head
She's fighting to belive
That she's not better off dead

All the messages
The lies and the tears
Masking her fear
And igniting her anger

She screams and cries
Struggling to be believe their not right
But with every word
Every scream ever heard
She wants to give up and die

Her pain is shown
Through her ever-green eyes
And at last
She has found the door
One that leads her into the light
