Iron Women

Running out of words to say, where does one go when the mind runs vacant? I feel my veins have run dry from bleeding so much love for you. Apartment walls become thicker to provide asylum from such atrocious feelings. Putting up eternal walls of protection to guard me from such a war of emotions, only to realize they exist in here with me within these sturdy walls, not capable of a getaway. I lie down for the last time for I can feel my last breath drawing near, the human heart can only take so much before it becomes conscious it has lost the battle against the secure beat that keeps it loving. The air soaked in rejection, loneliness a sense of being forgotten becomes scarce.

Abruptly my flesh is regaining color, and my veins strain a new kind of blood. My eyes begin to dilate and are stripped from any tears, like acid pouring from the ceiling the walls commence to meet their end. Like that a new type is born, killing any emotions that influence its behavior, starting a new life where it is it that commands the heart and the mind. You become the monster that sent you fleeing behind the walls.
