I had the dream again
Of the voice with no face
No body for to hold
No lips for me to trace.

The voice was angelic
The echoes came like sleep
The calming of her talking
Secrets I can keep.

She told me not to worry
She'd find me someday soon
I listened to intently
To the whispers of the moon.

It wasn't very long
My dream this time around
I woke before the sunrise
To not a single sound.

My dreams are still my home
My escape from every day
I wish it were reality
That I could just stay.

She said she was looking
For one to call her own
I called out my love for her
But I am still alone.

The light of day was blinding
When I awoke the sun
But still I will hold hope
One day we will be one.
