Heart is as black as ash, dying, slowly disintegrating
Into nothing, lifeless, useless
Beating, slowly, aching, numbing gently
Like a rose, wiltering, dying, wrinkling by the leaves
Feels like a knife being plunged deep, left there, to ache, to remind you
Fingers grasping petals, of single red tulip
Cold like a winter wind, freezing, icicles
You destroyed it all
Painted on the road is blood, belonging to you
Standing, glancing, watching
He loved you, had you, needed you
Now he hates you, watching you die is joy
Spat on, beaten, black and blue
Lifeless, heart ache, beating, numbing
Bleeding, wanting air
You’re dying, gasping, left in the middle of no where
Why laugh, why cry, why moan in pain
Why even feel pain. Why ever feel pain?
The ice slowly freezes, heart takes one more beat
Eyes slowly fade into abyss of dark empty defeat
Death owns you , you’re in his palm
Hell splashes lava on you, screaming, melting like butter
Slowly buried away, tears fall onto you
In your palm a red tulip
Slowly dying, slowly fading, slowly….
