I still called you my friend
Poem by: Alezae
For once in my life i had someone who made me feel so free Like a bird flying above a dark abyss, like a fish swimming deep in the sea; I had you by my side, you were there. No longer would i be alone. But you decided to ruin our friendship, by killing one bird with one stone; You called me harsh names, you despised me. Then you tore all i had right apart. I thought you were kind, thought you were caring, but you were hating me right from the start; Why did you make me feel so free. When you only wanted to capture me again. To lock me back in a cage and feed me lies, harsh and cruel, I CALLED YOU FRIEND; You humiliated me infront of a crowd, tossed all i had on the floor. I cried till i saw red of my own blood sliding across the floor; The blood that i spilled camed from my heart. Because you cut it oh so deep. You savaged it with a dagger, all because you think im a creep?; Suddenly the fire in your heart, began to cool to an ash. You treated me just like your bestfriend, but it was my heart you were out to smash; You said no more fighting YOU LIED TO ME! You locked me in a cage, NO LONGER FREE! Why did i trust you, you lit a spark in me. That spark has burnt to lava; I hope this lava harms you. I trusted you.
