AFRICA!

The sun burning red hot in contrast to the white man
The black knight waiting behind the sun
Troops storm uninvited… gate-crashing
In these soot showers there is dismal tension
Dictating a way of life
Making promises they cannot keep
In a black square upon the white face
Just like domestic violence
They say
“It is for your benefit”
Is it?
Is the killing of what are cells to the white man for the benefit of a forgotten land?
