Abandonment of world’s tedious reality

Escape from life’s cycle to epics and poetryWander with the mind’s eye of HomerSappho’s passionate love mull over A young man packed up all his stuffTo take the journey out of his artificial laughSeven mountains and the four seasonPoseidon’s anger couldn’t stop his mission Sun glints at the eye of disillusioned manAlong the beach he found no onePossessions had gone, life miseries are at handHe was left alone in a wild island Midway of the atoll’s marrowA mystifying garden he sawA beautiful nymph dressed pristinelyRunning between embellished flowery He crossed the threshold to the aisleOf his wildest imaginationTo gaze upon this breathtaking ambianceHappiness, tranquility and freedom The flora of the ornate gardenA replica of the primordial EdenFoliage beside him elegantly lined upZephyr from the sea mend his broken heart Sounds from the streamsButterflies with colorful wingsThe enchanting face of the nymphAnd Annabelle’s similarities, made him think “Oh this wonderful adorned lost emblemmust have the name of Annabelleif she’d only believed in my dream;Annabelle, this love, is never ending” Fascinated as he watch her comingHer glossy black fur swinging with the windFinally the lady stood before himSmiled and kissed him all of a sudden They run up merrily to the hills of yearningLike Romeo and Juliet they began lovingThe young man’s gloomy heartWith the lovely lady, now he’s glad He’d found Annabelle in the lost gardenWondering “How could she be here?”Solemnly stares at her silhouetteAsking “why you’re here and not for real?” “Annabelle” as he call her name“Do you want me to stay in your dream?”she looked at him and kissed againthen bided him to descend to her domicile Her house is an extension of her beauty
immaculate in creation and all its part is tidyShe hold his hand as they gone up to her atticThen opened up the window of world’s drastic Tears from his eyes dropped for a whileFor he thinks that this is just ephemeralTurned his teary eyes to Annabelle’s flowerbedBegging, to let him live with his beloved.” But now the morning has come to end his dreamAnd to his surprise, Annabelle was not beside himHe immediately stood up as if looking for herBut he’d found no one, even a single flower Living in illusion and fantasyAre vain allegory and mere temporaryAbscond from your false impressionReflect on God’s perfect affectionAlfie
