Where's the catch in falling down
people screaming songs at the top of your town
all we're doing is leaving hearts
and the sound of a beating drum

I used to think you were beautiful
but my eyes were burnt out from the light of a candle
so now I set them aside for you
I hope they don't fall from the sides of your hands

Days ago I set aside my nights
out of love for you and full of spite
you're bringing out the best in me
but I still see the worst
my life has no worth

I used to think you were beautiful
but my eyes were burnt out from the light of a candle
so now I set them aside for you
I hope they don't fall from the sides of your hands

my eyes are heavy with
the sights and sounds that I hope I won't miss
I feel my lungs are falling through my hands
my blood hits the floor and my hearts made of sand

I used to think you were beautiful
but my eyes were burnt out from the light of a candle
so now I set them aside for you
I hope they don't fall from the sides of your hands

so I set them aside for you
I hope to God you can see this through
