I don’t cut to hurt you

I cut to hurt myself.

I don’t now how it helps me,

but it just does.

I cut,

because I think I’m not good enough

because it reminds me that I feel pain.

I don’t cut to hurt you,

I cut, just to feel something,

because people make me feel

like nothing, nothing at all

nothing inside and nothing at heart.

I don’t cut to hurt you

I cut to take rage out on myself

because I feel guilty

or because I feel that everything

is my fault.

I don’t cut to hurt you

sometimes it just feels good,

the sting, the pain

the blood flowing out of my veins.

I don’t cut to hurt you

I just cant get out of it,

the point of the knife,

the blood on the floor,

the blood on my arm.

I don’t cut to hurt you

its not an addiction,

it’s a reaction.

It happens,

right after I cant handle it,

I loose it, I cant take it.

I don’t cut to hurt you

but tell me,

how does it feel,

to see me like this,

to see me feeling like hell.

Does it kill you inside?

Do you want to cry?

I don’t cut to hurt you

but I want to stop,

don’t give up on me.

Promise me,

because if you stop caring

I will never be able to stop.
