I wrote this after reading a story of a great artist who, for a while, stopped listening to their inner voice because of negativity from others. Thankfully, it was only temporary. Thanks for reading.

Open up your mind to both the present and the past

While seeking visions of a future world waiting to express itself.

Learn what you can and try to keep calm

Your heart and mind know best how to care for you.

Images of your history combine to form lifetimes

Of knowledge, love and understanding just waiting to be seen.

I know you’re worried sick and tired

But don’t give up to anger, hate.

The path is there, however marred

By years of trampling, overlooked.

Release your fears, uncontrollable,

For nothing can be done sometimes

And feel the power rise above

Providing you with clarity.

Are you still breathing?

Life’s not through with you yet.

Time enough for one more try

To turn the tidal force away

From problems, angst to peace, prosperity.

As many beginnings per day as needed

Await you when you wake.
