she embarked upon a journey that began so lonesome and blue
tears of pain she shed
a desperate cry for help but who knew
moments of silence she shared with the shadows of the moon
pleading to the universe to stop the pain she once knew
memories of abandonment, and promises always broken
what a lonesome childhood she knew
she escaped off to the shore, the waves moved like giants
sweeping her away in the abyss, on a journey no one knew
they found her by the willow, what a site to see it was
clothed in white with a peaceful light shinning on her skin
her parents enraged, because they had betrayed
the only daughter they ever knew

The Mad Woman

She embarked upon a jorney it began so lonesome and blue

tears of pain she shed. They were a desperate cry for help

memories of abandonment, and promises always broken

what a lonesome childhood she lived

she escaped off to the shore,  the waves moved like giants,  they roared

sweeping her away in the abyss, on a journey no one could have imagined

they found her by the willow, what a site to see it was

her mother and father engraged, because they betrayed

the only daughter they ever knew
