If Writing were a man...I'd fuck him.

(My f bomb in the summary is the only reason I put the restricted rating)

Looks like my path is aimless

But I

Kind of want to be famous

So I

Write lengths and lengths of loose pages

Thinking I've

Composed the story of the ages

You see

Me and writing go back--we're close friends

And while

Some people chose the bottle

I'm stuck

With a pad and a pen

—where to begin?

Characters

It seems like their names never end

Clamoring

In my head for a mention in

Writing

Places I've

Never been

Before

—they're suddenly

All I want to explore

While I'm

Practicing poses in my business suit

At home

I'm busy

Writing

Practicing like a kid with a brand-new flute

You say 'That's cute.'

I'm at it like

A woman with a new lover

Me and writing

Are closer than blood sisters and brothers

Made for each other

I value no other

What can I say?

I've been writing non-stop

Brain's 'bout to pop

Manic craze

Crazy galore

Pens on the floor

Words to explore

I'll write some more!

Graham Andrews

Very good! There is a catchiness and fluency throughout the entire piece. Can equate to the story of the ages and the last five lines in particular. :-)
