the crying heart

She is the little girl

Whom he has courted when she is barely 16 years old

She knew nothing, not about feeling or love

She is just a naive little girl

Whom always prefer playing with dolls

Rather than being in love

And he, he did come in to her life

And woo her hard, make her fallen in love with him

Him, whom gave promises, about life together

He promise to always makes her smiles

Always be there with her during her ups and downs

Forever love her in his heart

Then, a year later,  the family comes into pictures

They disengaged the relationship, they broke the ties

And still, him promise to seek for her after 10 years

He promise to be a better person with a bright future

And come to her and claiming her hand

And yet, when she is 27 years old....

She is still waiting for her knight in white horse

With shining armors to rescue her from the sadness

Turning down others because of the promises they made

And there, he already be a married man

How sad, life is...

How cruel empty words is

How hard did she cried...

Feeling like a moron she is...

Then she decided to move on..

And learnt from the past..

Start life a new...

Forgetting the past..

Though the shadow keep lingering

Liked the picture you put in my head it seem like you lived it for real and it also has a really great anticlimax

dibbledabble

A long time to wait for someone who did not. There will be other loves and with the wisdom that this lose teachers, those loves will be more equal and satisfying

Heartfelt and honest poem, always be honest, even if it is just with yourself

Hi Dibs,

Thanks for the warm words, indeed, I should be honest with myself, rather than just bottled it inside and take it as nothing

Poetlife

I can/do relate, I feel many will-sadly.

(Maybe you need to work on your English Grammer?)Let me know if you want any help? I will try, if you want me to?Leave you email address on my profile page- if you do? I will contact you.
Apart from that, I feel this is a poem from the heart/life/so sad. many will relate.
Keep writing.I love your heart.
(May be you should write in your own language? & put up translations? Sadly a lot of meaning is lost in translation.(I know, I can't use grammer in many langusges either.)Just a suggestion for you to think about?
Blessings.
