She fell down on her hands and knees, gasping despretly to fill her hungered lungs. Her eyes were wide and twisted with pain as her back made another sickening crack. A spasm seemed to ripple through her body, and she let out a horrible, horsed cry of pain as her back arched while she dug her nails deep into the ground. I saw her eyes begin to shift, the whites turning into a firery yellow, and the blue iris became a bright crimson color, like rubies. She let out another cry, this one sharper and more piercing than the last, and looked down in horror as her long, mishapened fingers suddenly had long black claws ripping through her finger nails. She grabbed the colloar of her shirt and fell to the ground, her body squirming around as she tried ripping her long sleeved shirt off.

I knew from experience that at this point of the transformation her clothes felt like they were choking the life out of her and making her skin itch and burn like hell. Which is why you should always strip down right before a transformation- well that and because your clothes get torn into a million piceces. I'm guessing if she didn't know that then this must be her first or second time. She finally stopped moving after a few minutes, and her breathing became heavy and came out in big huffs while her eyes were bulging like a fish. The girl tried to get on her elbows, but her body jerked forward making her hit the ground hard, and she groaned as her back began to grow until it ripped through her shirt.

Her skin melted away into a long furry coat and her screams of agony turned into thunderous howls that sent a wave of warm pleasureful  waves down my cool spine. I did not know this girl. I had never met her until tonight while hunting for my next meal when i just happened to feel the presence of my own kind nearby and i went to investagate. Thats how I found her, standing alone nervousely and worridly in the opened field that stood in front of me now. Thats right, I didn't have any idea who this girl was. Yet, my heart roared in my chest and I felt a strange, powerful longing just at the sight of her.

There she stood, the moonlight shoned a spot light just for her, and the light made the tips of her glossy silver fur twinkle like the millions of stars above us. On all fours, she looked up at me, and i no longer saw the fierery eyes of the beast. They were now a dark mystifying blue color. This could only mean that her human mind had over come the monster inside her, and was now in control of her wolf body, which surprised me. Normaly once transformed, the human conscience is put to sleep while the beast's mind awakens and takes over the body. It takes a long time, years even, for the human mind to remain conscience and keep control of thier new form. It also takes a great amount of will power to not give in to the beast within. So mabey this wasn't really her first comple of times changing.

Her eyes finally met mine, and as they did I felt a powerful surge, like electricity blasted through my entire body, no, my entire being. I saw something flicker in those eyes and my longing for her grew ever more so. Those eyes were filled to the brim with confedence, strength, courage and pride.

- And challenge.

I understood right then and there what she wanted. We started circling each other, slowly and cautiously without taking our eyes off each other. Waiting. Calculating moves and examining for weaknesses or any openings. We both knew that in every battle, and in every fight the first move determined the outcome. What mattered was who strucked first and the move they made. The wind blew throught the woods shaking the trees. The only sound was the animals of the night forrest sing thier songs and our paw steps crunching the dead leaves were making a rythmic pattern. We were completley surrounded by night's lullaby. I was about to say, "ladies first", but I thought that might insult her a little and get her ticked. I pulled back a few steps which she responded by standing still and her attention completely absorbed on me as she prepared for my attack. With one last quick sharp look at her and her dark blue eyes,I lunged forward.

The moon hung, dominating the night sky. With it's beautiful pure white face, it smiled in amusement as it lit up the stage and watched it's two children battle. The wheels of fate began to turn.
