Underneath the night sky a child looks up to see the stars
What a beautiful sight to see for he has never seen that before
For he is your first born your love and your joy
when you look at him all you see is the twinkle in his eyes and the glow on his face
Before you go to lay him down you start to rock him back and fourth and you start too sing a lullaby
just to make sure he won't awake when you lay him down to sleep
you go to his bedroom door and open it slowly and all that you hear is a squeak from the door
You lay him in his crib and step back as you see the moonlight shine in on his face
while standing you tell him
you are my little baby boy and I will stay by your side through the good and the bad
And when he starts to get older you start thinking of questions that he will start to ask
in which you start thinking how will you be able to answer all of them
But until then you just sit back and relax for that is not for awhile
But still you tell him
you're my little baby boy my love and my joy and I will stay by you're side through the good and the bad
