Natalie shuddered as Torch walked hurriedly over to her.

“I guess the beat was so sick tat it made their heads explode huh?” he asked holding back his anger.

“Sorry.” Natalie mumbled.

“Sorry!? Sorry? Look, how ‘bout this.”

Torch seized Natalie by the wrist and shoved her into the mess of bodies.

“You’re sorry huh? Well tell each and every one of them that you are sorry! Sorry that you couldn’t save their lives because you were too busy takin’ a bunch of dicks from people that you don’t even know!!!!!!” he barked.

Natalie began to sob as she rounded on Torch.

“Well what the hell do you care about them!? Didn’t y-you always preach about how you didn’t like the clubbin’ life style!?”

“Yeah so?”

“WELL!?” Natalie screamed.

“DAMMIT THAT DOSEN’T MEAN I WANTED THEM DEAD!!!!” Torch roared.

Natalie continued to sob as Torch went on.

“Yeah I admit that I’m not a big fan of the club scene. ‘Hey chick you lookin’ fine tonight, let’s fuck!! Oh what you say? You’re married? So what! I don’t give a damn and you know you don’t either let’s just get busy ‘cause after the beat drops, an after’ we knock back a few drinks we have nothin’ better to do!!!!!!’ Yeah Nat!! I’m not a fan of that, but those are still human beings!!!”

Natalie let out a loud moan as she dropped to her knees and cried her eyes out. Torch looked down at her for a second. He then sighed heavily as he walked out of the club.

As Torch walked down the street, he yawned as he slipped his hands into his longboat. He looked ahead of him to see a teenager walking towards him wearing his clothes backwards. Torch shrugged this off until:

“Sit down!! Shut up!! RUN!! JUMP!!! TURN!!!” Torch frowned as he looked up at the young man. Torch squinted up at his eye that was not covered by his spiky black hair. It was solid black.

“What the-!?” Torch muttered.

The teenager stopped and smiled at Torch. Suddenly the random commands stopped.

“What?” he asked. “You lookin’ at my eye? Why is that strange to you? You can do it too.”

Torch blinked.

“Who are you?” he asked.

“Blitz Crimson.”

“So you just killed all those clubbers… you used your flood of commands to overload their minds to the point their heads literally exploded.”

“Yup.”

“Don’t you feel guilty? At all!?”

“Why should I? They are nothing more than lustful dogs. I thought you knew that.”

“They were human friggin beings!!” Torch yelled.

“So?”

“Just because they don’t share your beliefs doesn’t mean that you should kill them Blitz!!”

“This coming from a former gang member.”

“I’m not perfect!”

“Uh huh.

“And neither are you.”

Blitz glared at him. Torch gave a harsh chuckle as he shrugged.

“Hey, we’re human beings. That’s what we do.”

Blitz was about to activate his proprius but Torch was too quick for him. The shadows under the trees turned into platoons of heavily armed men. The hundreds of gun men surrounded Blitz who sighed.

“You don’t play very fair.” He muttered.

“I do what I have to. Will you join me?”

“I would ask to what exactly am I joining but resistance seems futile at the moment."

"We are a band of ordinary people who have acquired different proprius. We are trying to get to the bottom of why the King is trying to cover it up."

Blitz nodded.

"Sounds like a plan." he said.

The next day after class, Timmothy walked over to Torch in the empty classroom. Torch looked up from his book.

"Hey." he muttered.

"Hi. So have you been experimenting with your proprius yet?" Timmothy asked while he shifted the weight of his book bag.

"Yeah."

"What have you learned?"

Torch leaned back in his chair to stretch as he shut his eyes. Then he yawned before he spoke.

"Well, obviously i have the ability to control shadows as long as i know what it is i want to turn the shadow into by name. When i activate my proprius, the iris of my right eye disappears clockwise around my pupil. after it is completely gone, my pupil spreads over my entire eyeball turning it solid black. This takes about one and a half seconds. After transforming a shadow, It stays the way I transform It for one hour after which It fades back into what the shadow originally was."

Timmothy nodded.

"I need to experiment more with mine."

Just then Torch's phone rang.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Torch!?"

"KiYanna? What's up?"

"Where are you!?"

"I'm at school why!?"

"At school!? wha- that can't be…"

"What's wrong?!" Torch demanded as he rose to his feet.

There was a pause before KiYanna spoke again.

Timmothy watched as Torch's face turned stiff with shock. He blinked as Torch's gaze began to soften as he shook his head.

"O-okay KiYanna but i didn't do it." Torch said.

"I know… I'll call you when i get more information."

Timmothy looked at Torch as he closed his phone.

"What the hell was that?" he asked.

"Someone has assassinated the King." Torch said in a stunned monotone.
