For you, love may be but just a game
It is one in which I do not understand the rules
For it can cause the heart feel so much pain
And make even the wisest become fools.

To you my fragile heart is only a toy
That you will shatter and cause me such sorrow
Still you will fix it yet again
Just to break it once more tomorrow.

The voice inside my head keeps saying
That I will find love in someone else
Someone who can treat me right
I lay awake at night just praying
That I could follow reason
And not my wasted heart

It is though I am addicted
And it is you who are my drug
And though I should not want you
I just can’t get enough

I know now that love is never easy
Neither is it just or kind
But no matter how hard I try to stop you
You still dominate my mind
