Ramblings from a train journey

The green of the tree's, the brown of the land.

The blue of the sea, the gold of the sand.

The sun in the sky, blinding my eyes.

The chill in the air, piercing the skies.

The crowding of carriage, the reading of news.

The rustle of crisps and the tying of shoes.

From the mix of gender, to the mix of race.

All travel together, all sat in one place.

Laptops are out and phones are engaged.

Books being read, page after page.

A stare in the distance conceals one man's mind.

A loud conversation reveals another man's kind.

Though they all sit together, they don't share a name.

I guess that's just how it goes when you're sat on a train.
