Be it a friend or a foe, or just someone you know.

A doctor. A teacher. A priest.

Be it the little old lady crossing the road,

or be it someone you know least.

There are demons that lie and struggles that hide,

between branches and hidden beneath wings.

But we all have to face the realities of life,

the surviving of hard times it brings.

For we all find ourselves in deep sea, and pray someday we find land.

So keep your head above water, and wait for the white sand.

There will be a time we all have to face,

where our worst ever nightmares come true.

It will feel like your body is deep within water and only your soul can pull through.

These are the days we must never forget, the days we will always remember.

To know that we're fighting day after day, for a mind we will never surrender.

Our struggles in life will not be numbered, predictions are no good to me.

You never will know just what's round the corner, and you never know when you'll be free.

For we all find ourselves in deep sea, and pray someday we find land.

So keep your head above water, and wait for the white sand.
