"Did you hear that our music teacher is a total sex god?! Wonder if he'll let me get in his pants." Xamara heard a girl tell her friend in a giggly voice.
"And he just graduated from college! So he's only 22!" the friend exclaimed excitedly. Xamara shook her head, disgusted by their shallowness, and gathered her things before going to the music room. Right now was lunch period but she wanted to practice her guitar, and the music room was the only place she could escape to.
The young lady was a bit different from her high school mates. Not only because of her name but her silence unnerved and offended others. And Xamara didn't keep silent on purpose she was just very introverted. With that said the lady obviously didn't get on well with other girls.
Peeking into the room Xamara gave a sigh of relief, no one was in. Digging through her backpack she got out her mixed HIM CD. Quickly inserting it into the high quality stereo "You Are the One" by HIM started up. Scrambling for her guitar Xamara re-wound the song once she was comfortably seated with her guitar. Turning the music up just a hair she began playing and singing along with the song.

Ville's pov

I was almost constantly swarmed by two or three girls. How they managed to get out of class mystified me. I'd just stepped out to have a quick smoke and got bombarded by the young smokers out there. Ten minutes later I managed to politely worm my way back inside. Quickly I hurried back to my room. It was there I could escape from the kids. The girls and some times guys didn't dare intrude on me when I was in my classroom. But upon opening my door I saw a young lady playing on her guitar. A moment passed and I recognized the song playing was "The Beginning of The End." The lady played along with the song fairly well. I waited until the song finished before getting her attention.
"Shouldn't you be having lunch?" I asked startling the girl a bit.
"I needed to practice more and this is the best place to do it." She replied putting her guitar away and taking the CD out. I stood there for a moment feeling bad that I had taken her practicing place.
"If you don't tell others I'll let you practice here whenever you have free time." Ville told her. A small smile came to her lips before she nodded her expression becoming neutral once again. The two were awkwardly silent for a couple of moments before Xamara offered her hand and said
"My names Xamara but you can call me Emily."
"Ville and you've got a unique name." he replied shaking her hand. Xamara again smiled before heading out to hide in the library for a while.
Ville collapsed into a chair rubbing his face. No, no, no! He could NOT lust after a student. He could lose his job over that little lady! Well not that he really needed this job but it kept him busy.
But when she returned along with the rest of the class his thoughts and eyes kept straying to her. It certainly didn't help matters when Xamara told him she was going to stay here to practice because her last period was study hall. And true to her word the lady practiced her guitar.
At one point she kept trying to play "The Foreboding Sense of Impending Happiness." But a few certain chords kept messing her up which made Xamara give a vehement huff of annoyance. Finally unable to stand hearing the messed up notes Ville came over to her. "Emily try these chords instead." He offered politely gently re-positioning her fingers on the right strings. Xamara nodded and did as he told her a smile making her face light up when she played the song right.
"Thank you Ville I haven't been able to get that for a while." She said starting the song over and this time playing the notes right.
"What other songs do you know?" Ville asked, pulling up a chair, eager to hear her play. Emily thought for a moment before beginning to play. It took Ville only a few moments to recognize the melody. "I know this is ours, damn what is it?" he mumbled humming along to the tune.
"Oh, its heartache every moment
From the start to the end
Its heartache every moment." Emily sang softly smiling when Ville exclaimed
"That's it! Heartache Every moment!" Switching to another song she waited for him to figure it out. But this time he stayed quiet for nearly the whole song.
"You don't know it?" Xamara asked surprised though she continued to play. The man shook his head unable to help but gaze at her with half-heartedly hidden affectation.
"I know this song I just like listening to you play it." He said which made the lady blush.
"Do you know the lyrics?" she asked.
"Amidst all tears there's a smile
That all angels greet with an envious song." Ville sang as the song ended. Xamara smiled and both leaned forward exchanging a soft sweet kiss.
"An you know our sacred dream won't fail." She sang softly when they broke away.
"Watch me fall for you my Venus Doom." He sang back a small half smile on his lips. Standing up she picked up her guitar and put it away.
"One look into stranger's eyes and I know where I belong." Xamara sang kissing his lips once more before waving goodbye and heading home. Ville smiled; perhaps they could give this secret love a chance.
